Perfect location, great service, and very good food. The menu is mostly Western, which was a nice change after a month of traveling and eating Sri Lankan food. Prices are higher compared to local restaurants, but similar to other Western-style places — here, though, the view makes it worth it. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, and the service is fast, which is not always the case in other restaurants. You don’t have to wait long for your food, which I really appreciated. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a break from local cuisine and want to enjoy good food in a lovely setting.

Betaz Hiriketiya is absolutely stunning after the renovation! The place looks amazing and the ocean view is just beautiful, so relaxing and peaceful. And the food… WOW. Truly to die for! Everything was incredibly delicious and very fairly priced for the quality and portions. One of the best meals we’ve had. The staff deserve a special mention too — so friendly, warm, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A must-visit in Hiriketiya. We’ll definitely be back!

We visited recently, driven by social media influence. The location was amazing, with a nice atmosphere and superb setting, but difficult to reach by car. Worth it. The food was just above average. But we felt they were not warmly welcome. We saw that they were not welcoming to foreigners either — not attentive, dull faces. Really disappointed.

Absolutely loved the vibe of the place. The view is breathtaking and the place looks really nice. The margarita pizza and the squid was great. Unfortunately the cocktails and the coffees weren’t as good.
